Terms & Conditions of Clerence or Sale Product
- Products purchased under Clerence offer are at times not the current batch stock, therefore CANNOT be RETURNED so choose carefully.
- This discount products may also be from mixed batches, which means that there may be some color variations between boxes of the same products and Iconik Tiles cannot be held responsible for this.
Terms & Conditions of Return of Goods
- Goods returned must not be marked or damaged & must be in unopened boxes (Minimum of 5 boxes of return).
- Returns must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. Customers will be given store credit of the purchase price less 25% re-stocking, admin & handling charges.
General Terms & Conditions
- It is the sole responsibility of the Customer/ Builder/Contractor to check that the tiles delivered to the site are exactly what was ordered.
- Ensure batches and Sizing codes are consistent and matching throughout the delivery.
- Check the tiles/product delivered to the site are of the correct quantity, shade and surface finish; no claims will be accepted after 5 days.
- All tiles may vary in size. The nominated sizes displayed in store, on packaging, on orders and invoices are general to actual working size. Please check your tiles for size before being installed.
- DO NOT start laying tiles or product until you have checked you have the required quantity. Ensure that there are enough tiles onsite for the project, if not, order more of the same batch, size and date before project commences.
- Any manufacturing defects in tiles, or variations in shade, should be brought to our notice prior to installation.
- Installation of product constitutes as acceptance and no claim will be accepted after the product has been installed.
- Shade variation can and does occur in all types of kiln fired clay products including tiles. This happens because the tile production process takes natural clay elements, bakes them at very high heat and depending on the raw materials and conditions may generate slight changes from batch to batch, as such Instore samples may differ to the delivered product.
- We DO NOT guarantee the availability of the stock until purchase order is received and approved.
- Pickup or collection charges are sole responsibility of the Customer/ Builder/Contractor.
- No responsibility will be taken for incorrect measurements.
- Delivered stock remains property of Iconik Tiles until full payment is received and we are within our rights to collect our stock if no payment is made. In the process of collecting our stock, any damage to the property is the sole responsibility of Builder/Client/ Contractor and Iconik Tiles cannot be held responsible.
- Sizes and weights quoted are approximate only, due to the inherent nature of ceramics, variations during manufacture cannot be avoided. Iconik Tiles will not be liable for any variation in size or weight of goods where such variation falls within accepted industry standards.
- We reserve the right to use legal action to recover any unpaid and overdue payments. Amount to be claimed will include original invoiced amount plus all fees, costs, charges and losses incurred by including the use of court action and/ or expenses incurred using a Debt Collection Agency.
- Outstanding balances are to be paid within 2 working days prior to the day of installation.
- Laminate: Movement noises are an inherent characteristic of timber or laminate flooring and is the part of standards and tolerances
- All Timber & Tiles contains natural variation in colour & grain and cannot be organized or edited – a ‘random lay’ effect is normal.
- Any excess Materials remain the property of Iconik Tiles.
- Power Supply from the property must be available for duration of work.
- Caulking in-between the skirting and flooring will hinder natural floor movement and this will cause cupping, bucking up of the floorboards and voids warranty.
- Free & Uninterrupted access to area for duration of works must be available.
- Supply and install do not include any sub-floor preparation costs. These can only be assessed once existing floor coverings has been removed. Additional charges are applicable to level the surface.
- If door doesn't have enough clearance at the bottom for the new floor covering, it is the customer's responsibility to remove, cut & replace doors or additional charges are applicable for us to fix the door.
- Iconik Tiles does not hold any responsibility for any damage to the property such as walls however care will be taken.
- Iconik Tiles does not take responsibilities for any properties lost during the duration of work.
Deliveries
- All delivery sites must be forklift accessible and will be delivered in garage on ground floor only.
- If no clear access is available, stock will be placed closer to the garage wall; Re- delivery fees are applicable.
Warranty
Iconik Tiles shall not be responsible for any warranty of product other than as follows:

- All installation work completed by Iconik Tiles is guaranteed for 12 months except for damage caused by accident or misuse.
- Certain goods may come with a manufacturer’s warranty and warranty service will depend on the item and the nature of the problem.
- Details on manufacturer’s warranties will generally be attached when you receive your products.
- Manufacturer’s warranties do not cover any labour or delivery charges.
- Where there is a manufacturer’s warranty on any goods, the warranty period will begin at the time goods are picked up or delivered to the Customer/Builder/Contractor.
What is not included in standard warranty
- Tiles used in commercial applications.
- Tiles with no proof of purchase.
- Tiles purchased under Clerence offer.
- Where a customer has simply changed their mind.
- Tiles that have been laid with obvious defects, damage or blemishes noticeable prior to installation.
- Tiles with natural variation in size, shade, colour, and texture that are an inherent characteristic of tiles.
- Where a defect or *excessive wearing is caused by abuse, misuse, or faulty installation.
- Failure to install the tiles in accordance with relevant Australian Standards (including incorrect installation, installation materials and waterproofing).
- Failure to protect the floor from moisture from the subfloor and other sources.
- Where alterations or refinishing cause fault or damage to the original manufactured product e.g. sealers.
- Incorrectly supplied tiles that were not checked by the Customer/Builder/Contractor prior to installation.
*Excessive wear – reduction in gloss or finish, fading and scratches caused by normal domestic traffic are not considered excessive wear and are not covered by this warranty.
How to report a fault
- If the issue is regarding the colour, size, shade, texture, or blemish you should immediately contact (before laying/installation) Iconik Tiles to report the fault.
Our Action
- Once received, Iconik Tiles team member may be required to visit the purchaser’s property to inspect and assess the fault.
How we settle the matter
- Replacement tiles with the same or equivalent product
- Repair of the existing tiles
- A cash settlement or compensation to the value of the original invoice amount, or,
- A combination of the above.
